พระปรมาภิไธยที่จารึกในพระสุพรรณบัฏ คือ

และทรงเฉลิมพระยศ สมเด็จพระราชินีสิริกิติ์ เป็น สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินี
พร้อมพระราชทานพระปฐมบรมราชโองการแก่พสกนิกรชาวไทยว่า
“เราจะครองแผ่นดินโดยธรรม เพื่อประโยชน์สุขแห่งมหาชนชาวสยาม”
พระฉายาลักษณ์องค์นี้เชื่อกันว่าเป็นครั้งแรกและครั้งเดียวที่พระองค์ทรงประดับ เทียร่าประดับเพชรแห่งพระราชพิธีบรมราชาภิเษก ซึ่งคาดว่าออกแบบขึ้นเฉพาะสำหรับพระราชพิธีสำคัญดังกล่าวเท่านั้น จึงนับเป็นหนึ่งในเครื่องประดับที่ทรงคุณค่าและหาชมได้ยากที่สุดในราชวงศ์จักรี

“Phra Bat Somdet Phra Paraminthra Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej

Siammintharathirat Borommanatbophit.”
During the same ceremony, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit was elevated in rank and formally proclaimed Her Majesty the Queen, and His Majesty delivered His First Royal Command to the Thai people:
“We shall reign with righteousness for the benefit and happiness of the Siamese people.”
This portrait is believed to depict the first and only occasion on which Her Majesty wore this magnificent Coronation Tiara, likely designed exclusively for this historic royal ceremony. It remains one of the most precious and rarely seen jewels of the Chakri Dynasty.
