วันสตรีไทย ๒๕๖๘
วันสตรีไทย ตรงกับวันที่ ๑ สิงหาคมของทุกปี โดยสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง พระราชทานไว้ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๖ จัดตั้งขึ้นเพื่อเทิดพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าฯ พระบรมราชินีนาถ เนื่องในวันมหามงคล ๑๒ สิงหาคม ซึ่งเป็นวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษาของพระองค์ ด้วยสำนึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณที่ทรงมีพระวิริยะอุตสาหะ ตรากตรำบำเพ็ญพระราชกรณียกิจนานัปการ เพื่อให้คนไทยได้มีอาชีพ และได้พระราชทานให้วันที่ ๑ สิงหาคมเป็น "วันสตรีไทย" ของทุกปี เพื่อให้ผู้หญิงไทยมีโอกาสแสดงถึงความรู้ความสามารถในการพัฒนาประเทศ ควบคู่ไปกับการสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้สถาบันสังคม และให้สามารถเทียบเท่าสตรีสากลของหลายประเทศที่เจริญแล้ว
วันสตรีไทยถือเป็นวันสำคัญวันหนึ่ง เพราะเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้หญิงไทยออกมาทำ กิจกรรมร่วมกัน จะเห็นได้ว่าในปัจจุบันสตรีมีบทบาทมากขึ้น มีความสามารถทัดเทียมผู้ชาย เป็นที่ยอมรับจากสังคม จะเห็นได้จากหน่วยงานราชการและภาคเอกชนเริ่มมีสตรีเข้าไปเป็น หัวหน้างานมากขึ้น รวมถึงการเข้าไปมีบทบาทในการบริหารประเทศชาติ สตรีไทยในยุคปัจจุบันจึงต้องเป็นสตรีที่มีความรู้ความสามารถครบถ้วนทุกๆ ด้าน ทั้งด้านการบริหาร การจัดการ การเป็นแม่ที่ดีของลูก เป็นภรรยาที่ดีของสามี และเป็นแม่ศรีเรือนที่ดี พร้อมทั้งต้องก้าวทันกับยุคสมัยเทคโนโลยีที่เปลี่ยนไป เพื่อให้เป็นที่ยอมรับของสังคม
เนื่องในวันสตรีไทย ผมขอร่วมเทิดทูนและแสดงความเคารพต่อบทบาทอันทรงคุณค่าของสตรีไทย ผ่านผลงานคอลเลกชันภาพที่สร้างสรรค์ด้วยเทคโนโลยี AI ซึ่งได้รวบรวมภาพของหญิงไทยในหลากหลายช่วงยุคสมัย ตั้งแต่บุคคลจริงในประวัติศาสตร์ ไปจนถึงภาพจำลองที่สะท้อนแฟชั่น วิถีชีวิต และบทบาทของสตรีในแต่ละยุค
คอลเลกชันนี้ไม่ใช่เพียงการนำเสนอเครื่องแต่งกาย หากแต่เป็นการเล่าเรื่องราวของผู้หญิงไทยในหลากหลายบทบาท — ในฐานะลูก ภรรยา มารดา ผู้นำ นักสร้างสรรค์ และผู้ขับเคลื่อนสังคม โดยสะท้อนถึงความสง่างาม ความรู้ ความสามารถ และพลังแห่งจิตใจของสตรีไทย ที่สามารถประสานคุณค่าระหว่างขนบธรรมเนียมกับโลกยุคใหม่ได้อย่างงดงาม
ผมหวังว่าคอลเลกชันนี้จะเป็นอีกหนึ่งบทบันทึกเล็ก ๆ ที่ร่วมเทิดเกียรติสตรีไทย ผู้เป็นแรงบันดาลใจและเป็นรากฐานสำคัญของครอบครัว สังคม และประเทศชาติ — ทั้งในโลกแห่งความจริง และโลกแห่งจินตนาการ
Thai Women’s Day 2025
Thai Women’s Day is observed annually on 1st of August, a date graciously bestowed in 2003 by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. The occasion was established in honour of Her Majesty on the auspicious occasion of her birthday, 12th of August, a day of great national significance. It recognises Her Majesty’s boundless benevolence and tireless devotion in carrying out countless royal duties aimed at improving the livelihoods and welfare of the Thai people.
Through this designation, Her Majesty intended 1st of August to be a day for honouring Thai women—providing a platform for them to showcase their knowledge, capabilities, and contributions to national development. It also aims to strengthen the social fabric of the nation and elevate the role of Thai women to be on par with their counterparts in the developed world.
Thai Women’s Day is therefore a meaningful occasion, allowing women across the country to come together and participate in various activities. Today, women play increasingly prominent roles across all sectors of Thai society. Their talents and capabilities are widely recognised as equal to men’s, with growing numbers of women now serving as leaders in both public and private institutions, and playing key roles in national governance. Thai women of the modern era are expected to be well-rounded—proficient in leadership and management, nurturing as mothers, supportive as spouses, and graceful homemakers. They must also stay abreast of advancing technologies in order to thrive in an ever-changing world and gain continued respect in society.
