ผมขอขอบพระคุณจากใจจริงสำหรับข้อความและคอมเมนท์ที่แสนอบอุ่นและกำลังใจอันล้นหลามที่ทุกท่านมอบให้เสมอมา แรงสนับสนุนของทุกท่านคือแรงผลักดันสำคัญที่ทำให้เพจเล็ก ๆ นี้ รวมถึงการศึกษาและอนุรักษ์ประวัติศาสตร์แฟชั่นไทย ยังคงมีชีวิตและได้รับความชื่นชมไม่เสื่อมคลาย

ผมเป็นนักออกแบบเครื่องแต่งกายมืออาชีพในวงการภาพยนตร์ประจำอยู่ที่กรุงลอนดอน ได้มีโอกาสทำงานในสายอาชีพนี้มาอย่างยาวนานมากว่า 25 ปี ทั้งยังได้รับการเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัล Emmy Awards สาขาออกแบบเครื่องแต่งกายยอดเยี่ยมในปี 2019 นอกจากนี้ ผมยังได้สั่งสมประสบการณ์เชิงลึกจากการเรียนในระดับปริญญาโทและปริญญาเอก ซึ่งทำให้ผมมีพื้นฐานด้านประวัติศาสตร์แฟชั่นและการออกแบบอย่างรอบด้าน

ในปัจจุบัน ผมได้นำเทคโนโลยี AI มาใช้จริงในงานออกแบบเครื่องแต่งกายภาพยนตร์ เพื่อช่วยสร้างภาพอ้างอิงและเร่งกระบวนการออกแบบให้มีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น และเพจนี้เองก็เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของความสนใจส่วนตัวของผมในประวัติศาสตร์แฟชั่นไทย รวมถึงเป็นเวทีในการทดลองและแสดงให้เห็นว่า AI สามารถนำมาใช้ในงานออกแบบเชิงวิชาชีพได้อย่างสร้างสรรค์และมีประโยชน์จริง

ภาพแต่ละภาพในคอลเลกชัน AI นี้เกิดจากกระบวนการทำงานที่ซับซ้อนและเป็นระบบ ซึ่งผมหวังว่าจะเป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้ทุกท่านได้เริ่มต้นสร้างผลงานแฟชั่น AI ของตนเองในแบบที่ชื่นชอบ โดยกระบวนการทั้งหมดมี 10 ขั้นตอน ดังนี้:

1. ค้นคว้าภาพถ่ายจริงจากหอจดหมายเหตุแห่งชาติหรือแหล่งข้อมูลประวัติศาสตร์อื่น ๆ

2. ลงสีภาพขาวดำด้วย Palette หรือ Flux Kontext เพื่อคืนชีวิตให้ภาพ

3. ขยายขนาดและเพิ่มความคมชัดของภาพด้วย Midjourney หรือ Krea เพื่อให้พร้อมสำหรับการฝึกโมเดล

4. เทรนดาตาเซ็ตผ่าน Krea Training, Shakker Training หรือ Flux LoRA เพื่อสร้างโมเดลที่สามารถใช้สร้างภาพใหม่ได้

5. เพิ่มฉากหลังและตกแต่งองค์ประกอบต่าง ๆ ด้วย Midjourney Editing Suite หรือ Krea Editing Suite

6. ใช้ Magnific หรือ Freepik Upscale เพื่อเพิ่มรายละเอียดของเนื้อผ้า เครื่องประดับ และองค์ประกอบสำคัญ

7. ปรับสีหน้าและอารมณ์ของตัวละครด้วย PicSi AI

8. แก้ไของค์ประกอบใบหน้าด้วย Luminar Neo หรือ Photoshop Liquify ให้กลมกลืนและสมจริง

9. ใส่โลโก้หรือข้อความประกอบภาพด้วย Photo Mill X

10. เขียนบทความประกอบภาพและปรับเนื้อหาให้เหมาะสมด้วย ChatGPT

I am a professional costume designer based in London working in the film industry. Over the years, I’ve gained first-hand experience both through my MA and PhD studies, and I was honoured to be nominated for an Emmy Award for Best Costume Design in 2019. More recently, I’ve been integrating AI tools into my film design process to help generate references and streamline workflows. This page reflects both my passion for historical fashion and my commitment to exploring how AI can serve real professional design work.

Each image in this AI collection is created through a detailed and multi-step process, which I hope will inspire others to develop their own AI fashion projects. The full workflow includes ten key stages:

1. Researching original historical photos—often black-and-white archival images from the National Archives of Thailand

2. Recolouring the black-and-white photos using Palette or Flux Kontext to bring them back to life

3. Upscaling and sharpening images with Midjourney or Krea Editing Suite to prepare them for model training—image resolution is crucial at this step

4. Training LoRA models using Krea, Shakker, or Flux to generate new images from the dataset, either with or without prompts

5. Rebuilding and enhancing backgrounds and visual elements with Midjourney Editing Suite or Krea

6. Using Magnific or Freepik Upscale to enrich fabric details, jewellery, and accessories

7. Adjusting character expressions and personality with PicSi AI

8. Refining facial features (eye shape, skin tone, lips) using Luminar Neo or Photoshop Liquify for harmony and realism

9. Adding logos or captions with Photo Mill X

10. Writing accompanying articles and refining prompts with the help of ChatGPT

In this post, I’ve shared a curated selection of some of my favourite works representing various periods and styles in Thai fashion history. Each piece was created with care, respect, and a love for heritage.
