This collection has been created to showcase the costume design of Art Deco fashion during the early reign of King Rama VII (r. 1925–1935). It imagines an afternoon garden party in Siam, where Western Art Deco glamour blends with Thai tradition, producing a unique hybrid of fashion and culture.

Art Deco and Flapper Silhouettes

The Art Deco fashion of the 1920s, often associated with the "flapper" style, introduced a new and distinctive silhouette: straight, elongated, and free from the restrictive corsetry of earlier decades. Dresses were sleeveless or short-sleeved, with dropped waists, geometric decoration, and shimmering surfaces of sequins or beads. Hairstyles were short and sculpted into the celebrated “Marcel wave,” often adorned with bandeaux or feathered plumes.
