A visualised AI collection set in Bangkok
All images in this collection are not real photographs.
They are created using Generative AI, through a process of imagination, design, and careful control of fashion and visual details. This body of work exists as a creative construction, not as a record of physical reality.
I chose to work with AI not to deceive the eye,
but to create images that do not yet exist.
Images of a Bangkok that feels slightly quieter.
Images of everyday life released from the relentless rhythm of the city.
And images of the two of us — myself and my partner —
as stand-ins for ordinary people who choose to live simply, calmly, and at ease.
The collection is inspired by Pantone Color of the Year 2026, PANTONE 11-4201 Cloud Dancer —
a soft, airy white described by Pantone as a whisper of tranquillity and peace.
It is a colour that does not demand attention, does not raise its voice,
but instead opens space for thought, emotion, and imagination to breathe.
AI becomes a tool to visualise this idea.
Not merely white garments,
but an atmosphere — light and shadow, distance between bodies,
walking, talking, pausing.
Images of people of different generations sharing the same city
without competing to stand out.
In these images, we move through pavements, platforms, riversides, office buildings —
the familiar spaces of Bangkok.
Yet the noise is softened.
Clothing in the Cloud Dancer palette acts as an emotional structure,
not the focal point,
but a quiet backdrop that allows human presence to come forward.
Choosing ourselves as the central figures is not an act of personal storytelling,
but a way to make the images emotionally truthful,
even if they are not physically real.
AI allows me to ask questions:
What if we slowed down?
What if the city felt less crowded?
What if fashion no longer needed to be loud?
What would Bangkok look like then?
This collection does not aim to be photography,
nor does it try to imitate it.
It is a visual thought experiment,
using AI as its language
and PANTONE 11-4201 Cloud Dancer as its emotional tone.
In a world saturated with reality,
sometimes what is not real
allows us to see certain feelings more clearly.
And for me,
this is one role of AI —
as a tool for creating spaces of calm
within a world that continues to grow louder.
